i was reading some stuff earlier about children and temper tantrums-well all of the stuff that describes chance and it says that sometimes the symptoms could describe ADHD or OCC (i think that what it was) imnot gonna bring him in and have him tested or anything-at least not yet anyway i was just wondering-at what age does any of this usually show up and what if any symptoms prompted you to bring your child to the dr. i just wanted to know some info on this-their dad had it and their uncle suffers from it-althought hes almost 17 now

I think your kids are at the prime age for tantrums, as is my older DD. I'm trying to figure out better ways to react to them to make them not get so out of control. They are testing you and their independence. I can't say for sure if they have ADHD or not. I think it's too young to know that, but you never know.

yeah i figured that-they love to push mybuttons-i recently started laughing at them when they throw themselves ont eh floor-i know its mean-but it makes them stop and they go to their room and start playing agin
i just worry that they will have problems later in life-esp chance hes sooooo hyperactive but with them going to start t ball this summer he will get rid of that excess energy and ill love that!!

They are at the prime age for tantrums. However, I belive that a mother knows best. If you are worried, Have him checked out. Talk to your Dr, or an early intervention type of service. :pinkheart

Usually they don't start looking at ADD or ADHD until the child is school age...your twins are at the prime age for tantrums and are prob. just being 3 year olds. But ask your doctor if you are really worried about it, at least that way you can keep an eye on any behaviors that are red flags and not okay for their current age.
