She's squirming now. but am I just too paranoid something is really wrong with her? lol
Somebody tell me everything is ok.. :snicker Im going to have a tequila sunrise tonight after I BF her, I wonder how many I can down.. lol :meme

Lydia was like that. She slept a complete 24 hours when she was a week old (well besides waking every 4 to eat). Enjoy your night!

If she is eating a normal amount when she does eat, and has a normal amount of wet and poopy diapers, I would just let her sleep. Some babies are great sleepers from the beginning.
If you are breastfeeding her, I would stay away from hard alcohol. You can have a beer or glass of wine, but you should wait 3-4 hours after that to breastfeed her. At this point, with her being so young, I wouldn't drink any alcohol yet.

Ang, you just might have a sleepy baby!
My boys slept A LOT when they first came home. By the time I realized I should probably take advantage of it, they stopped and I regretted every moment I wanted them to wake up. Listen to your gut. If you think there is a problem get it checked out, otherwise remember to enjoy it cuz it probably won't last long.

My first used to sleep for 18 hours a day when she first came home, sometimes for 5 hours at a clip. I called the hospital about it, and they scared the crap out of me telling me to wake her up and make sure she drinks. If I let her be, she'd wake up, drink 4 to 6 oz, be up for an hour and take a little nap. If I woke her up, she'd drink 1/2 an oz. to an oz and be cranky for hours. After a week, I started letting her sleep. As long as she's getting wet diapers and pooping regularly, you don't have to worry about dehydration. I mean, check with your ped. anyway, I'm just saying Alex was a very sleepy baby the first couple of weeks too.

Some babies just sleep really well. My brother had a home birth and slept thru the night from day 2 on. I think you are used to little, high needs babies. Isabella is not little (not huge either), so you shouldn't have to worry about her weight. She is also baby #4. Usually later babies sleep more and are more relaxed because mom and dad are since they have done it all before. Just make sure you keep an eye on her diapers. This is a very good sign of her getting enough to eat.
Enjoy it and go take a nap!

her breast feeding is going well, I tried to get rid of the Nipple shield and such but it had ill effects on me, shes' so little and her mouth and or Latch isn't too well im assuming, because my nips were increadibly sore, with the shield I have alot less pain, and she seems to nurse more effectively.
Of course all this changes dailey as we understand eachother (isabella and I)
She seems to want more around 9pm and her 2am feeding to eat. i bf her and she wont settle back in unless she has another ounce or more of Me, or Formula then she's spent!
HMM... (scratching head)
