Its over!!!!

We finally had evie's operation for craniostenosis!!! It was rescheduled a couple of times and we ended up going to a children's hospital an hour and a half away from our house. She did it!!! She was in the ICU for four days and came home the next. You would never guess that she had major surgery a week ago and now she is home and sitting in her highchair smiling as I type this. It is such a relief knowing that its all behind us!!

Liz!!!! :hugs This is such great news! I am so glad her surgery went so well :yay Unbelievable that she is sitting in her highchair already. Have you noticed that her headaches are better or gone yet?

Its a little wierd because she doesn't look the same! I am hoping once the swelling goes down a little she will look a little more like my Evie, but when she smiles there is no mistaking it!! She acutally looks more like her sister!

Ash- Its so strange, Craig and I even noticed it in the hopsital. She is a different baby! She's the same sweet girl but not as irritable and that was 2 days post op!! Its amazing.... We told the neuro and he said that we are the 3rd parent with Metopic Cranio that has said that. So even though the pressure can't show up on the ST scan, he thinks it was there...
