Oh goodness. My parents watch dd and ds 4 days a week. My mom is 68 and dad is 71. It seems like my dad is just becoming overwhelmed by watching them. Mostly, due to ds being so damn stubborn. Ds just does not listen most of the time. I seem to be the only one he ever reponds to, but not all the time. Time out does not work, we send him to his room at home, but he destroys the room at my parents. There is nothing to take a way that he cares about. I am so frustrated. We can not afford full time day care or I will have to quit my job and get a two bit job. He can be so good and so funny at times but other times he can be so stubborn and naughty. My dh just wants me to let it go and see what happens. I want to be more proactive and up daycare days a day or two to avoid a complete meltdown. It would put a definate crunch into our budget, but that's the type of sacrifices parents make for their kids. If gas was not $3/gallon we'd be a bit better off.

Well, if you read this and it makes sense, congrats, as i just seems to be a rant at this point.:wall

My kids are the same way. They are impossible and don't listen to me or anyone else. They are angels when by themselves but put them together and it is insane. My parents couldn't handle them on a full time basis. My mom helps me out when I need it but I use daycare for every day. I don't have any answers but know that you aren't alone!

Sorry! I know it is hard when they do that.

I hear ya, mine are turning into little demons who bust out laughing whenever they get into trouble. :roll

If you parents are having a hard time dealing with them, then maybe an extra day in daycare would be helpful. Sorry you have to deal with this. :(
