When baby proofing I bought this lock by Safety 1st.

we use it to lock the refrigerator. but the instructions say it can be used to lock the oven door and to lock the toilet seat down (prevents drowning etc) I went back to WalMart and bought one for the oven door. I assume it can be used to lock other things as well. It sticks with adhesive so no screws or drills. super easy to 'install' Anyway, its about $5 and it works great. I highly recommend it.:neener

We use something similar to that to babyproof all the drawers on the boys' dressers. They're great.

I have one of those on my fridge. I bought one of the ones specific for the oven but didn't put it on cuz I'm trying to get out of my lease. The one on the fridge was absolutely necessary since the boys figured out how to open it and decided they wanted to try and make eggs in a pan on my floor.

We bought one for the oven but every time you turn on the oven, the heat melts the glue and the thing comes unstuck :shrug

I bought one a couple of years back when my twins were little and had the same darn thing happen. Some use that was. GRR
