Last night we went out for burgers and this couple had this chair. (http://store.babycenter.com/product/fast+table+chair.do?search=basic&keyword=feeding+chairs&sortby=shortdesc&asc=true&page=all) has anyone ever tried one of these? Are they safe? They look so convenient and I hate getting those nasty highchairs at restaurants :puke It also folds flat for travel, which is huge for us :yep
What do you think?

I think those would be great. I don't know much about those particular seats, but I've seen them before and they look really nice. We use the hook on chairs at my IL's and they work great. I've never even thought about taking them to restaurants. :doh At restaurants, I either wipe the high chairs down really well (I'm talking I use Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface spray), or we use our Fisher Price high chair covers that are similar to this (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2585670&cp).

My sister has two of those for my nephew..very sturdy and very convenient. I would definitely get them, in fact, I may get them myself once we start venturing out a bit more.
I’ve heard they are good but it depends on the table you use. With one that has a lip or isn’t very heavy, you can’t use them at all, although I guess you could balance a light table with a baby on each end.
I used the seat that straps into a chair and folds up. We kept it in the van for DD1 and always used it at restaurants.

Those things always make me nervous but I've heard they are very sturdy. It would definately be very easy and convenient. I hate using highchairs at restuarants also. I wipe them down before I put my kids in

I've never seen them! They look awesome, and I would use'em. :yep However, we like using the ones at the restaurants because we never have to order for the babes...they just pick it off the chair. :yum :teehee

Those have always made me nervous but I'm sure they'd be great. We bought some cheap boosters for the kids for here but I wish I'd seen the ones that Lisa has. :kickcan I HATE "public" highchairs, I always wipe them down like a mad woman and pray that my children don't touch them.

Thanks you guys. I think I am gonna get some :yep
Bonkey, we have these (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2265272&cp=2255981.2256180) and I love them. Click on the "see it in action" button. I like these because they have their own tray with a lid (so you know it is clean), the trays fit in my dishwasher & it has a carrying strap.
