I am SO proud of him........

We had a conference with my sons teacher today. My singelton son will be 7yrs old in June. This is his first yr in Public School. Prior to the public school he was enrolled in a Montessori School for 2yrs(wasted my money). He was having a hard time with reading within the first few months of school(public school). They had put him in a middle group of reading but he was struggling and they were thinking about taking him down to the lower reading class(which would be fine if he needed to be there). We decided to give him some time to work on his reading and I am SO proud to say that he is reading a little above 1st grade. He is doing so good!!! The teachers just love him and say he is respectful and is a joy to have in class. I have to say I was beeming throughout the conference:electric
