this weekend. It is mainly for teens. We took our nephews since they have been wanting to go and we wont let them go by themsleves. We had alot of fun and my husband and I danced ALOT. We were the only that new how to dance. The kids there were doing some booty shaking stuff(actually they danced like strippers--i guess that the style now).
I am amazed at what kind of videos they have for the music. OMG!! My husband and I sat and watched the videos for the music. I cant beleive what our teenage kids(boys and girls) are made to think what is "NORMAL" behavior. Girls shaking thier "booty" and have their boobs "drooping" out of their shirts. The guys in the video are decked out with gold chains around their necks, fancy cars, a woman on each arm(while he is looking at another woman). I know that their alot of kids that dont think that is how real life is but my GOSH why is it necessary for every video to have a half naked woman shaking her booty or boobs. It wouldnt be so bad if adults were the ones watching these music videos but most of these videos are being watched by young minds.
This type of crap in this world makes it so hard to raise nice, responsable young men and young ladies. There were two girls at the dance that were about 14yrs old and 15yrs old. They were dancing exactly like the "women" on the videos were dancing(like strippers at a dance pole). It makes me realize how much we as parents really need to keep a watchful eye on our boys and girls.
:think2 Maybe I could lock up my teens till they are adults and I wouldnt worry so much???????????????
