Cake, why are Britax so much better than Graco, etc.?

They are safe, user friendly (which makes them easier to use properly every time) and comfortable. They also were the first to allow tethering for RFing but I believe other brands are doing that now.

Other brands tend to have straps that twist, obnoxious ways to tighten them or the strap height is very low for the weight limit they offer. It’s kind of a seat by seat basis because there are some cheap ones that are great and some more expensive ones that don’t take you anywhere near the limit they claim to. :shrug

Thanks for the link, we need to get two Marathons for DH's car. I have roundabouts now...is it just a weight difference b/t the two?

Weight and harness strap height. DD1 outgrew the Roundabout at 35 pounds and not even 3 years old because she was so tall. She still fits in a Marathon though.
