Alright, did anyone have a dream about going into labor right before they did? Because I just woke up from one, and now I'm freaking out! Well at first I thought it was real and almost woke hubby up, but then I realized it was just a dream...here's how it went:

I was at the Dr. for some reason (prob because I haven't had ANY appetite lately and can't eat hardly anything), and when they checked for heartbeats, Devonne's was high so they sent me to the hospital. There they realized that I was beginning to dialate and efface, and that I was having contractions every 2 mins (which I didn't even feel). But Devonne (who is Baby A) was breech AND in distress, so they decided to do a C-Section. So when I woke up, I was on the table just about to have em slice me open and I woke up.

Now I'm afraid to call the Dr. about my appetite like I was going to do today because I'm afraid I'll go in and go into labor...as uncomfortable and sore as I am, I'm not ready! They're not done cooking - I'm only 33 weeks 5 days! And I really want a vaginal birth, I'm terrified of a C-section....well we'll just have to wait and see i guess...I'm calling the doctor now...

I used to dream about going into labor a lot towards the end of both my pregnancies. Towards the end with the twins, I'd daydream about going into labor, I was just done being pregnant!

I had both a vaginal delivery (for my oldest) and then a C-section for the twins, the C-section was a bit scarier, but just focus on the end result - you'll have two beautiful babies!

I'd call the doc about your appetite loss - it doesn't mean the dream is going to come true. More likely the babies are squashing your stomach/intestines, which is why you feel full/not hungry. But I'd call anyway- you definitely want to make sure everything is okay!

Let us know how it goes!

This far in your pregnancy, call about EVERYTHING!! That is what you OB is there for. Without you, they wouldn't have a job. I wouldn't worry too much about your dream. It's probably your mind's way of working thru anxieties. Most people work out the majority of their anxieties in their sleep...good thing I don't remember my dreams anymore.:para I had lots of labor/baby dreams towards the end of my pregnancy, but it didn't mean they were coming any sooner. They came at 36w3d with no NICU stays. I would call about the loss of appetite though. In my third tirmester, I was putting down FULL meals every 2 hours. I mean it was a lot of food per sitting, and I was still losing weight.

I tried to make the dreams go towards everything coming out ok (like no csection since I was terrified of it).

Were you by any chance reading the experiences articles? Maybe you were just putting yourself in the stories in your dreams? Just a thought. I had some really crazy dreams my last month or so. Maybe it's just that too. I would call about the loss of appetite thing. Oh, I had a c-section, I didn't think it was anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'm actually kinda glad I had one now.

My entire pregnancy I dreamnt about labor and babies.

With my pregnancy with emma I dreamnt she was the pillsbury dough baby and I could press her tummy and she would say "WHOO HOO" I woke up feeling like I had heard her, then I started to laugh. It was weird.

I think it is completely normal to dream about having those babies! That is all you are thinking about right now! I also wanted to say that I was terrified for a c-section too. I worried for no reason, it really wasn't bad. And it was over so quick. I hope you get to have a vaginal delivery but if it so happens you have to have a c-section you'll be just fine. :hugs
