Amnio complete

Hi everyone, I had my amnio done on Tuesday and all went well. I wouldn't want to go through it again but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. went to see the OB on Thursday, but the appt was cancelled and will be rescheduled. No problems afterwards and feeling great. Since the procedure, the two are more active.
I should get results in a few weeks or so and hopefully everything will be great. It is confirmed that I am not having identical twins, so now we have to wait to see what we are having. It looks like one baby is may be a boy and wasn't able to see the other ones parts (shy).

I am so glad it went well.

You know, I was sort of glad mine weren't identical. Mine look totally different and it was easier for everyone to tell which was which. But, I did color coordinate them when they were babies. It was easier to grab "blue" baby (Q)and change and then grab "green/white/yellow/other color" baby (Toad) and change him. It was a definate "color" notification. Before I did that, DH would grab a baby and change a diaper, put the baby down, deal with the 2-year old, grab a baby and go to change him and it was the first baby. One of the twins has a birthmark on his lower butt cheek and it made it obvious when you changed a diaper which one you had.

I think we will find out the sexes but not tell the family. We have a 15 year old male, 12 year old female and 18 month old male, so we will keep it a secret from them.

That will be cool! You will be able to plan things out a little, but everyone will be surprised. And, no whining from the older ones that they didn't want whatever sex the twins are. Because, you know, I am learning that teens whine about anything and everything, even if it is stuff they want.

I'm glad it went well!! The amnio results should include the sex of the babies. :yep I hope the results are good ones!
