At 37 weeks, I bloated up like a balloon. I went to the doctor and my bp was high. I was immediately admitted into L&D. I stayed there for a week on strict bedrest, and my bp went back to normal and my swelling decreased. However, everytime I got up to go to the bathroom, I started swelling again. On January 24, I was let out of the hospital for the weekend. My birthday was the 25, and I was being induced on the 27th. I was instructed to stay on bedrest over the weekend.
Mikeee and I got to the hospital on the 27th at 9am. My OB put Cervadil on my cervix and waited for me to dialate. According the monitors, I was having contractions, but did not feel anything. At about 4pm, the doctor checked me and I was only at 4cm. He broke my water, and I immediately started having very intense contractions. Around 4:15, I asked for an epidural, and the nurse checked me and said they didnt' have time. I was rushed to the OR and Nina came out before Mikeee even got into the room. MY OB actually reached up into my uterus to pull Hanna down, and I only had to push twice and she was out. My babies were born very healthy at 38w 1d. We were all released from the hospital 3 days later.
