Just wanted to show you a picture of Sammi and her "too old for her man." lol
She has a MAJOR crush on this guy. However, he is 15 and she won't even be 13 until November! His mom said he has a crush on her too. lol I feel really uncomfortable with someone liking my baby. Sammi has always had different taste in boys too. He's a nice kid but different. He is also as tall as her daddy at 6'1"! His older brother is 6'9"!
Anyway, here is my babe and her wannabe boyfriend. (OH, she's not allowed to have boyfriends at her age. That is just how we feel. LOL!)

I don't blame you for not letting her have a boyfriend!! She is too young.

You aren't letting her have a boyfriend until she is 35, right?

Well, we have talked about it and came up with the age 37 1/2. IF she can show us she is responsible enough!

OMG she is so grown-up looking. Jeez. She's too young for boyfriends! But they look very cute together :)

She is adorable and actually so is he. That is both cute and scary as all hell! :shock I totally understand the no boyfriend rule. I'm right there with ya girlfriend! How do we enforce it though? That part scares me too. I know how I would be even more determined to 'break a rule' than to do the thing to begin with? :cry

She is so beautiful, and so grown up looking!

I don't blame you for not allowing her to date yet. I have a daughter who is 12 as well, and I tell her she has to wait to date as well.

She is so beautiful. I agree that she is too young to date, but they do look cute together.

Another reason I'm glad I have boys.

:thud She is a total knockout! She looks MUCH older than her true age! I don't blame you at all about not allowing her to "date". Last year my oldest son had this weird idea that I'd let him date. He'll be 14 in Feb :roll So, I had a serious talk with him about being responsible enough to date, and the feelings that may come up when you're alone with a girl, etc.. and that until he was ready to consider spending the rest of his life with a person, he wasn't ready to date. I never heard another word out of him about wanting to "date" after that talk :lmao Maybe I traumatized him?

They look really cute together. You're gonna have a hard time keeping the boys away from her. There's a questionaire thingy that my mom made some of the boys that I used to hang out with fill out. It's meant to humiliate them to the point that they want to run the other way (and usually do). I can see if I can find it.

Wow! She is so pretty and they make such a cute couple but I totally agree, WAY too young to date.
Jeff says the girls aren't dating until they are married. That is why we have chosen their husbands already. :lol

How do we enforce it though? That part scares me too. I know how I would be even more determined to 'break a rule' than to do the thing to begin with? :cry
Jeff has the perfect solution for enforcing the "no dating" rule. He said he is building a concrete block room in the back yard. It will have small windows way up high so sunlight comes in, a feeding slot to give them food and a bathroom. They will remain there until their wedding day. :lmao

Fun she is beautiful. WOW. And you know what I totally agree with you on t eno dating rule. Danae will be 11 in Novemeber and we have had this talk many times as other kids have "boyfriends". She hasn't even brought it up to DH, I think he would just go ballestic.:lol She knows how I feel about it. She even asks me if it is OK to "like" a boy. I tell her that is fine as long as it just that.

Basically my girls can start dating .....NEVER. I don't want to even think about it.

FB can Jeff come over and help us build one big enough for our 3??? We do have to put a move on it as Danae starts middle school next year.

I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16, but that didn't stop me from making out with boys at school and when out with friends :para

i was allowed to have "boyfriends" pretty much as far back as i can remember. but i think my parents thought it was cute, not really a "boyfriend." i couldn't officially date till i was 16, but i remember having one "boyfriend" in 8th grade whose house i went over and who would come over my house...i was pretty much in the same boat as Iggy...

She's so beautiful, and so grown up looking! You're going to have trouble keeping the boys away.

I was allowed to date for as far back as I could remember. My first "real" boyfriend was when I was almost in grade 8.

Oh yeah, and I was also caught "licking tongues" with a boy behind the stage in gym class when I was in grade 1:twitch my karma is coming.

I was caught doing something like that, too. :para I can't get specific. If I don't talk about it, it won't happen with my kidos, right?? :lol

I don't even want to talk about my early "boyfriends".:blush I wasn't officially allowed to date until I was a couple of weeks away from 15, but it was with a boy who actually asked my mom if he could take me out before he asked me.:thud He was mormon and my mom thought he would be a very resptable first date. Little did she know he took me to "makeout point" on that date.:lol I was 14 when I had my first french kiss at the roller rink and 16 when I lost the big V. I don't even want to think about my girls dating.:roll It's just never going to happen.

Dayna, Sammi is absolutely gorgeous! Good luck with her!:lol

She is gorgeous. I had my first real boyfriend when I was 15 (he was 19). It was ok by my parents because he was "the good boy" in town. Yeah Right! We dated until I was 20. I dropped him my second semester at college, when Matt came to campus!
