I had never heard of it before :(
It is very scary to me because after swimming my kids are always extremely tired which makes them moody. It just seems almost impossible to tell the signs of it :(
I read it, and my mom says in 40 years of pediatric nursing she's never heard of that happening, and she thinks the kid probably had an undiagnosed respiratory problem that contributed. Poor thing. :(

I heard about it the other day on a bulletin on MySpace... it's soo sad! But seriously I just don't need more things to worry about! it's soo scary that something like that could actually happen!

:cry OMG I've never heard of that. How awful! Now I'm going to be more paranoid about baths because they are always drinking (and choking on) the water. :nervous

Wow. Never heard of it, but great info to have now. Just sad that this mother found out that way.
