I was scheduled to be induced on the 30th of June (I was 38 weeks 6 days). We checked into OB at 8:00 a.m. My OB doc checked me...I was maybe dilated to 1 cm and definately not ready to deliver. My options were...they could induce me, which could take up to three days, send me home and wait, or do a c-section( which he said he wouldn't do if both babies were head down). So he ordered lab work and an ultrasound. Secretly, at this point I was wishing they were not head down so I could be done being pregnant :snicker I think God was listening, Baby A was now transverse so no natural delivery for me. My doc said the chances of baby moving down was very slim. But I could still try naturally if that is what I wanted...no thanks. I really didn't want to have to do it both ways. I was scheduled for the section at 11:30 a.m. Elliot came first at 11:37 am weighing in at 7lbs 15.2 oz ,20 inches long. Ezra was next at 11:38 am weighing 7 lbs 13.3 oz,20 inches long. I at this point was completely numb from the chest down, so I had one heck of a time trying to hold them when they came out...absolutely precious :blueheart:blueheart. My DH did great..he watched the whole thing and didn't even pass out. I got to see them closer about 2 hours after that! It was an experience.. I had my other 2 natural and think this was much better not having labor pains, but the first two days after the surgery I felt like someone ran me over...but I could sit easier with this one...no sitz baths for me :) We stayed in the hospital for 3 and a half days and we all got to go home together...no NICU or any other problems...just what we prayed for!!:wub
