Ok, let's see what I can remember

Got to the unit around 8:00am for the induction. I was already dilated to 2cm so she decided to break my water to see if that would get things started. I had irregular mildish contractions for the first 2-3 hours. I asked the OB to check me to see if I made any progress and told her if I hadn't than I might consider starting Oxytocin. She checked and I was 3cm and thinned out more. So I decided to wait a little longer. About 5 mins after she checked me things picked up ALOT. I was in active labor and the contractions were coming every 2-3 mins and getting really strong. About an hour later I felt like things were progressing really fast so i wanted to be checked again. When she told me I was still 3cm but had thinned out totally I was soooo upset. I was expecting a lot more.
A couple mins after she checked me that time things changed again. The contractions got unbearable and were coming every minute. About 30 mins later I was feeling like I had to push. The nurse said that it had only been half an hour but she said if i really felt that way she would check me. I was relieved when she told me I was 8cm Things after that went crazy. They took me into the operating room to set up for delivery. I was in so much pain and the stupid epidural guy had been busy. It was within another 30mins I was 10cm and ready to push but they told me I couldn't until he got there. When he finally arrived he took FOREVER to get the stupid thing in. I thought I was going to die After it was finally in it took 20 min or so before I felt some relief...than I got to start pushing. I think it took about 10 mins to push Mitchell out (which still hurt like hell!!). He came out screaming at 5:33pm He weighed 5 pounds 14 ounces. Man, I felt so done after that..but of course I still had one more to go.
They put the U/S on and saw he was now laying sideways (great). I did not want to have a C section after all of that so i started to and i told the OB to do WHATEVER she had to to get him out vaginally. She said we would wait a few mins to see if he would turn. After a few mins she checked and he had turned a little breech. So she started reaching inside me to see if she could grab a foot. After a long time of her whole arm inside of me and me screaming she finally grabbed a hold of his foot. She than broke his water and tried to get his other foot (another 5 mins of excruciating pain) finally she got it and started to pull him out. When he was about half way out I had to start pushing with all my might to get the rest of him out. At 5:48pm Colin was born He weighed in at 5 pounds 8 ounces. He had a little trouble breathing at first but with in a few mins was doing great. They both got to go back with me to my room as soon as they were done with their check ups.

I'm sooo happy to have my gorgeous healthy boys!!! and of course to not be pregnant anymore

I had quite a lot of bleeding and over 3 pounds of clots so I'm pretty tired and weak. My back has been really bad too, not sure if it was from the epidural or not

But besides that we are all doing great and are very excited to be home.
