Megan finally did something first!!!!

After dinner today, I gave them sippy cups. I've been trying to get them to start using them. Well, Megan grabbed it and put it to her mouth! I had to help her tilt it up by she was holding it and she was drinking. I'm so excited!!!
Morgan was fine with it as long as I was holding it for her but when I put her hands on the grips she pulled them away like the cup was on fire or something. :lol

:woohoo The boys didn't do the sippy thing until I switched them to milk. Before that, they'd take a couple sips then throw them and scream. Then I started giving them milk and in sippies, never used a bottle again.

My girls didn't do the sippy thing until they were around 18-24 months old! They had straw sippys before then so I didn't confuse them with breastfeeding. See...she's just on her own time line.:) She will be just fine Mama! And you are an incredible mommy for worrying about her!:hugs

Mine have been using sippys since about 5.5mo. First, I gave it to them empty and let them get the hang of holding it. At about 6.5 months I put a little water in it. Brandon is great (he still needs to hold it a little higher) but he will get his. Taryn can't hold it up high enough to get anything (she's getting better tho). They are great at holding them, but are still learning!
