When you were in school and now in your school, do they dress up for homecoming?

When I was in HS, we dressed up. When we moved to Yoakum, they didn't.

Now that we are in Victoria, they do.

Is that common for schools not to dress up?

Homecoming and Prom were a big tado in my Highschool. Everyone dressed up and had special flowers and some limos involved too. It is like that around here too.

Homecoming was a nice dress, like a Sunday dress. Prom was the huge expensive dress and the flowers and such.

When I was in HS, it was nice dress for homecoming, nicer dress for prom.

These days I think it's the same around here. I'll let you know if Chris get asked to homecoming by his Junior "friend" :snicker

We dressed up for homecoming and Christmas dance. Not as nice of a dress as prom though.

Homecoming was not formal in my high school. I never bothered to go to any of them :para Our football team always lost so nobody cared much about homecoming. Prom (for seniors) and Ring Dance (prom for juniors) were the bigguns. I went to three proms :para and one Ring Dance.

I think it must depend on the school. When I was in school, one year they asked us not to dress up, not really sure why. Now since my stepdaughter has been in school they do. We're going to look for a dress for her on Saturday.

The homeschool dances start at age 13 and the prom starts at age 14. :twitch Beak can start going to dances after Febuary. He can to got prom the year after that because he will turn 14 right before they have it. I am so not ready for this stuff.
