yeah, it's a little late, but ya know...
So, Brandon is still wearing his brace. He is working through it pretty well, tho. He just laughs and smiles at eveything. Not any crawiling yet, and it doesn't look like he will get to it anytime soon with that brace on, but it comes off right before Halloween!! :yay he is doing great with his sippy and holds his own bottle to eat.
Taryn is doing really well, too. She is getting a little more verbal, but still mostly just breathy sounds. She thinks she will be crawling soon, she tries to crawl on one knee. :smile It is sooo cute. She is also playing peek-a-boo! It is sooo funny. She doesn't have any interest in holding her own bottle, but she is always grabbing the spoon from me at meals.
They are officially sitters since about 6.5mo. Super cool!! :yay
Right now, tho, both of them are sick, poor babies. I stayed home from work on monday and I think I changed 11 poopy diapers. Taryn had broken out in a rash that is going away (the doctor on Tues. said it is either Roseola or a Gastro Intestineal Virus or something like that- no meds) Brandon is just pooping and is stuffy (Doc said Taryn probably has the GIV, since Brandon is pooping alot , too- tho no rash). But their poor butts are sooooo sore from pooping. We are putting corn starch on it and it seem to be clearing up. We are not giving them anything(like petelyte-sp?) because they are still peeing well. they are eating fine, and I am giving them lots of water. I may try that carrots boiled in water, and then giving them the water (cooled) as posted a little earlier (sorry, I can't remember who right now! :hug) great idea, thanks! They are stuffy, too. I am giving them Little noses cold medicine and it seems to at least dry them up enough to sleep.
Anyway, I didn't mean to write a book, thanks for reading ladies!
