I already had a papasan chair, but i didn't know when we got it that it didn't bounce. and then for almost 6 weeks we just had that and a swing, so i kept it so i'd have a place to put babies. thank god i only got one incase they didn't like it, cuz they didn't. it was more of a place to put them when i had to put them down. i'm still gonna use it upstairs when i'm doing baths and stuff.

but i finally got off my lazy ass, went to walmart, and got two bouncy chairs. and lemme tell you, the girls LOVE them! well, as long as they're bouncing. but if i can get em to stop crying and still have my arms/hands to myself, that's a major bonus! it's so funny, cuz you stop bouncing the chair and they cry. start again and they immediately stop. i do it just to mess with them sometimes. does that make me mean? :para

but anyway, yeah. i'm sooooooooo happy! and thank you Ring and whoever else suggested it!!! you were right!

That's great! We love ours, too. Keep trying the swing. At one point Z started only napping really well in it. :shrug

Bouncy chairs are wonderful! Are they ones with a play bar on them?

yeah, thet are. i didn't put the bar on yet though, cuz they don't know the difference yet i don't think, and it gets in my way. i'll put it on when the get to the point where they can play with it.

My babies outgrew their bouncies already and they were never able to reach the bar. They also grew out of the bumbos by 5mo. It sucked! But the bouncies and swings were lifesavers early on. Now, we mainly use walkers, boppys, and highchairs (portable). It is so nice to every once in a while to pack something up and send it to the shed, kwim? :yay

I'm glad you got them. The were life savors for me, especially with Morgan's colic. Mine had a switch that you turned on and they vibrated. That was even better than bouncing them. :lol

:woohoo That is awesome, I am SO glad they like them!

You are lucky :lol Ours wouldn't sit in them, the swing or nothing except our arms without crying for nearly 5-6 months.
