Chris has his awards banquet last night. I am so proud of him. This was his first year in organized swimming. Not only did he shave 34 seconds off his 100m Free between the beginning of the season and the end, he also lettered in swimming. :thud
He's a Fresheman! We are so proud of him. Jeff made it a point to tell him that even though he is athletic, he never lettered his freshman year, he didn't get his first letter in a sport until Junior year. Lettering Freshman year is a huge accomplishment.
At the end of the night, Chris looked at us and said "Thanks for being here for me. It meant more than you know." :aww
