THE GIRLS BOTH SMILED FOR THE FIRST TIME ON TUESDAY!!!!! I almost didn't believe it. i actually posted a thread on HM asking if they were real smiles, because i didn't know how to tell lol. but they were, because they've both done it at least once each day since then...devonne actually stopped nursing to give me a huge gummy grin, and then went right back to nursing again today. it was the CUTEST thing ever!!!! OMG i'm soooooooooooo in love with these two girlies!
and on top of that, the same day they started copying faces that we make at them!!! devonne made this really cute "O" with her lips and then stuck her tongue out between it. so i did it back to her, but flicked my tongue in and out really fast. and she watched me do it for a little while, and then did the exact same thing, flicking her tongue in and out like four times!!!! then when alanna was in the bath, she made a funny face and some sort of noise along with it. so joe did it back at her, and she did it right back to him. they went back and forth like 6 times!!! it was soooooooo cute...
