Tonight I made baked chicken, mashed potatos and green beans for dinner. Well, Morgan saw and smelled the food and started wigging out and got all excited so I gave her some. Heffer ate half my dinner!!! I cut the green beans and chicken into small peices and she chomped on them. She wasn't too sure of the potatos but she ate them. I tried giving some to Megan and she wasn't quite as receptive but did try a little. A couple of times she gagged and scared the poop out of me so I quit trying with her. I had to move myself out of Morgan's line of vision in order to eat what was left of my meal. :lmao

Wow, that is awesome! To them, table food tastes like chocolate to us :lol
That's so cool! I loved when the boys went to table food.

Me too. Heck, all Megan did was gag and I freaked out. She wasn't even choking. :lol

Isn't it fun? My boys are bottomless pits.. seriously, they just don't stop eating. We go out to dinner and they eat from the time we get there till the time we leave. And yes, they stare at me whenever I eat anything in front of them.. makes me feel so guilty that I don't eat lunch till they take their afternoon nap! It's so fun trying new foods with them though, especially now that they each have two shiny chompers :)

I loved it when my girls started eating "real" food. Only problem was they became big time moochers.

That is hysterical!!! I can totally picture it.
I gave the girls those veggie puffs the other night and that was a disaster.... the thought of table foods :straightjacket
I think I'll have to give it a little more time!!

Liz, I am with you!! Daycare said they do well with puffs, but me :no not yet...yesterday Brandon did try to steal some shells and cheese from my plate. the little turd got two of them (he put them on the floor tho). So I gave them the mac n cheese dinner. I did give them both a few teeny tiny pieces of noodle from my plate (and I was terrified). I guess we all gotta start somewhere. I just wish there was some table food fairy that came around and would teach them, otherwise it might never happen! :para

i can't wait till my girls are on table food. it'll be so much easier when they're hungry to just hand em stuff from my plate than it is to stop eating my own meal to give em a boob lol.
