the girls BOTH slept for more than 6 hours (now if i could get them to do it for the SAME 6 hours, i'd be FINE!!!), and my boobs have still not recovered. devonne usually wakes up every 3-4 hours, and i'll wake alanna at the same time so i don't have to get up an hour or two later. well, not last night. and they haven't eaten much today yet. unless my supply's increasing? but man, am i sore. just wanted to share. :lol

Them not eating as much today might mean that they are up more tonight. Just remember that babies run in a 24 hour cycle, not a 12 and 12 like everyone else. It might mean that they are just becoming more efficient nursers, which does happen. My girls went from taking 30-45 minutes to nurse every 1 1/2 hours, to 5-10 minutes every 3-4 hours. Not overnight, but it did happen.

I hope you are getting some sleep tonight, and they are just becoming more efficient!:dancinman

not for as long. i was afraid of that too, ring, but they slept fine last night once i got em both down. :D and this is DH's 4 nights on!...i haven't cried yet! one more night to go.

way to go Christina, Honestly like Lorien said, once they become efficiant suckers.. they will eat in 10 min. Isabella has been eating for only 6-10 minutes each feeding ( usually through the night ) *IF i stay awake nursing her* and she's spent.

Somet times during the day she wants to eat for a good 15 minutes. and thats oK too..

Im still waiting until Isabell sleeps through the night every night.. like from 8pm until 7am. :rofl

Your a great mother, and your doing a supurb job, more probs to YOU for doing it X2...

:yay You're doing such a good job. You'll be amazed at how quick they can nurse eventually. It just makes life easier. Isn't it a relief to have nights where you don't :cry? I can't believe I used to all the time...I never did before the twins. :lol

omg! smidget, that was the funniest thing i have read in a long time. i can totally see myself doing that!! that was hilarious...sorry you are so tired, but it is so easy to be so tired we have no clue...i hope you get more sleep soon. sad thing is it seemed perfectly logical to me to do that...but then i lost my mind a long time ago. :hug
