Ok, I need help.

What time do you put your toddlers to bed?

What time do they actually go to sleep?

Does it help to separate them?

I need rest.

Mine go down at 7:30ish. Most nights they fall asleep between then at 8pm. Yet, we have nights were they will giggle and play until 9ish (though not often). We have never seperated ours, so I have no idea if that would help you.

I hope they start sleeping better for you. :hug

Our's used to go down at 6:30pm. Now, it's more like 10pm :cry We put them in thier room by 9, but they stay up for AT LEAST an hour playing and running around. Sometimes, they are still awake at 11 :cry

In bed at 7:30, usually they stay awake chatting until about 8, sometimes they zonk right out at 7:30. They're still in cribs. They've never been separated so I don't know about that.

Mine are older, but I have the same problem. We put them down and read a story or 2 between 8-9. Depending on if they naped durring the day, they stay up for an hour at the most.

Ours have gone to bed at 8 PM since they came home from the Hosp at 1 mth of age.

Lately though, DH wants them to stay up an extra hour, so they'll sleep in an extra hour. Sure, easy for him. He's not around at night to have to put up with the over tired melt downs!

Don't know about seperating them yet. They still share a room. Good luck!

What time do you put your toddlers to bed?
Sadly Emma goes to bed when I do. I try to get her to bed by 9:00 at the latest when I have the early shift and 10:00 at the absolute latest when I have the late shift.

What time do they actually go to sleep?
I actually don't know. :shakehead *hanging head in shame*.....I typically fall asleep before her, unless it is close to 10 or after 10. She watches a movie and stays in bed. When I wake up later in the night, she's always asleep. I'm a really light sleeper, so I would wake up if she got up. If she hasn't had a nap, sometimes she falls asleep as early as 5:30 or 6:00 and sleeps through. You just never can tell with her. :roll

Does it help to separate them?
It would help me to separate her from me, she's a friggin bed hog! :lol

We put ours down at 830 and they usually are asleep within 15 minutes. We rarely have a problem with them going to sleep and have never needed to separate them.

Depends on if they had a nap. If they take a nap they will stay up talking until 9-9:30. If they don't have a nap they will go to sleep between 8-8:30. Through the week they always go to their beds at 8. They are always up at 6AM.

Mine have always been together and for mine separating them would not help. They would scream/cry for the other all night. Not helpful!

Mine have always slept together. We have tried to put them to bed at 9, but it doesn't always work.

we put ours down at 8:30-9pm, sometimes it takes 30 minutes to an hour for them to fall assleep. but they nap seperately. I have to put one in my bed and the other stays in the bedroom of theres.

I've gone through my share of waking at night, and not falling assleep, crying at bedtime, etc. (this too shall pass) trust me!
