A & A play. They played from age 4 to 7 yrs old, than did two yrs of mini football and now back to soccer. It "fits" them better. They are on the "smaller size" for their age and frankly, the football thing was starting to make me nervous because of their size. Even though they wear pads and a helmet, during every game last yr I was a nervous wreck about them getting hurt, big time. So many of the kids out weigh them by at least 20 pds and a few feet in height.
They practice twice a week and games are on Saturday. This morning was an early game and let me say that fall has officially come to our area. I was FREEZING at the game this morning.

They love it and I am happy about that. We are debating about what they will do , activity wise, when the season is over.

I LOVE watching Emma play soccer. She didn't like it for part of the season, but near the end she decided that she really did like it. :shrug Anyway, I think that is great that they are involved in some type of sport...as long as they enjoy it.

That's awesome! 2 of my nephews and my son Shawn love playing soccer. It's such a great sport. I'm glad they enjoy it and you don't have to stress so much.

(Send some of that cool weather down this way.)

We did soccer camp, my guys just like Baseball and Football and I thought they were too young for football, so I signed them up for soccer camp, no games, just learning the rules of the game and the concept. This was good for them. I know my nephew is an amazing soccer player and even made the 7th grade team at his middle school. I think next year for C&C we are going to sign them up for peewee flag football, if I'm brave enough.
