Older kids...rainy day....cool MOM!

Ok...so we were waiting for a day with NO plans....no Sunday School, and no schedule. So we got it and it's friggin raining outside! The girls played for awhile in their playhouse outside, but got cold and damp, so they came in...and of course all the toys/dolls, games in the world, but they are still bored. So being the cool as all Hell mom that I am...I picked my brain at something I loved to do when I was a kid, and that was make a fort in my room out of blankets, etc. So here's what me and the kids created...

FORT DIXON and inside are the Dixon Chicks!

ok. the drawback was that when the rain stopped and they went back to play outside......every 10 minutes or so they had tours scheduled. The WHOLE neighborhood has been trapsing through my house....

Okay I missed this thread like 3 months ago! That is SO cool! My girls are home all week (Tonja's vacation), and I think I am going to make them a fort in the living room! I might wait until Wed when dad is here, and he can help me. He likes stuff like that too. Oh now I'm excited to make my girls a fort! I LOVED making them as a kid!
