I just think this is getting a little insane. Of course I love pics of my boys and anyone is a better photographer than me but. holy crap! We just had sport pics, Nick just had school pics and now A & A this week for the school pics. And let me say, they are NOT cheap, even if you pick one of the cheaper packages. kwim?
Between cross county, soccer and school pics I think I have shelled out, well over a hundred and thirty bucks in the past two weeks. :drama I wish this crap was spaced out a bit better. When you have more than one child, its gets quite costly. :blush

That is exactly why we NEVER do school pics anymore. Only sports pics and then every couple of years I do the kids pics together at picture people or somewhere like that. It's insane!

I know what you mean! Gosh, AJ had school pics, TKD pics and the twins have daycare pics...all in the same month! Not to mention I am having AJ's 12 b-day @ Medival Times and that crap is costing me a lot and now the holidays....

I know it! The same thing here! Soccer pics 2 x per year and school pics. And they are all done by the same company! I always buy the cheapest package. I really only buy them because of the team and whole class pictures, not the individuals!

I can't even begin to imagine what it's costing you. I don't have sports pics to pay for but school pics sure as heck make up for it. I had Shawn's, Maddy's and Chris' in the same week. Thank God for scanners because I got away with getting the cheapest package at $21 each and then I'll scan them to make more for the family. For $21 I got a whopping: 1 5x7 and 8 wallets! If I were to buy a package that covered the whole family, I was looking at $70 per kid! And they do school pics here 2x a year. And they have the nerve to call themselves "public schools"

I am dying to do a nice family portrait but it is so hard to coordinate it to get everyone together since my boys go with their Dad on the weekends and during the summer and my step-son lives in ME and we get him in the summer. Ugh! The joys of having a spread out family!

I know! We had soccer and school pics in the same week. I spent $70 on school and $40 on soccer (for both). It's ridiculous!
