Hey Iggy!
I saw the cutest tote today. It was blue, dot velour with a chocolate, paisley stripe at the bottom. It looks like your tote # 2 (as far as patterns go) in the thread titled handbags and diaper bags.
The velour material is like the attachment. It is a perwinkle blue though. I had a hard time finding a brown paisley material that I like. Do you have any suggestions??? It doesn't have to be paisley. Just chocolate and satiny. The bag's handles were made of the same thing. I am not sure what the inside was made with.
So what do you think-:shrug? I know you must be busy right now, I am in no rush. Let me know.

I can work on something. I am headed to Joann's this weekend for their sale (:woot) so I'll look for chocolatey paisley-ish types and take some pics.

I have a lot of crap going on right now. I'll look over my calendar and see when I can do a bag. God I haven't even cut out my boys' Halloween costumes yet. I keep thinking I have plenty of time :para

Black cats. The costume is pretty simple so hopefully it won't take long once I get my butt in gear. I have to finish a paper by tonight so maybe after class I'll cut it all out.

Did you want a tote that's quilted or unquilted?

ummm. I am sewing impaired so I have no idea! Once you find the material can you tell if it will look better one way or the other???

Ok sorry it took so long to post these, I've been hung up on the stupid bathroom remodel.

Brown-based paisley and related patterns are not common right now apparently, but here's what I found in browns that seemed remotely like what you want. There's tons more brown florals if you prefer that.

I really love the third one. They have the same pattern in a bright grass green that's just beautiful.

It should look really cool. We are going to go with the sea green version of # 3.
The main part will be the bumpy material in the first post, but in a lavender ( I love purple too Moni)!! Hopefully Iggy can find it. I can't wait!!! :woohoo

Hey Ash, the fabric you're wanting is a knit. It won't work for a handbag. I'll see if I can find a woven of that type of fabric.
