Well I did not realize there were so many of us. I want to know if anyone wants to plan a November get together. I have a few ideas depending on weather and/or what ages we have.
So if you are interested please let me know what your schedule is like, how old your children are & anything else.

sure i'm in. i have a 4 year old and my twins are almost 9 months - a handful with them both crawling..
what did u have in mind?
we had a get-together for the other place in Sept and it was fun.... I have already met 8 or so VA twin mommies from there - many of whom are here now! (1boy4girlz, rtmommie, mytwoirishangels, merwat, etc.)

I cannot believe all the people that live in No VA! :lol Well, I don't know if the weather is going to hold up so we can do any of my ideas. I was thinking of some outdoor places to go. (We love Frying Pan Park & its animals or maybe the Reston Zoo)
We could do something indoors which is probably our best bet. Anyone know an indoor playground? My two are almost 3 & sitting still for very long is not their strong point. :para

mine are goign to be hard to handle unless it's at someone's house - mine isn't big enuff :( which is why i'm moving!
we did Frying Pan Park last time and it was great.... but like you said it's going to be too cold!
maybe we shoudl think about waiting till spring.

My house is really, really, really small. :para I do, however, have a lot of toys & a rec room.
Let me think about this. It seems silly to wait 6 months to meet up.

count me and BW in. we're not in No VA, but we're only between 4-6 hours away depending on traffic. i'll have to wait till we get home to check the schedule, but i think middle to end of the month will work best. our kids are babies, so it doesn't matter what we do. they don't do much yet.

I guess, depending on when and where we would probably join you guys. Depending on how many people are interested, I might even be willing to have it at our house. I live about 30 minutes south of Fredericksburg and 30 minutes north of Richmond.

This sounds like such a great idea! I probably won't be able to make it since I'm trying to get my boys on a good schedule that I keep messing up from traveling everywhere! But I do have a friend in Fredericksburg that I would be able to stay with for a night if it comes down to us being able to go.

Yep! I actually live in Botetourt which is right before the roanoke exit and we're only 30 min from Tech! GO HOKIES!
I would definately love to get together with everyone the next time we plan to travel that way!

Oh god I know where Botetourt is! I got my first speeding ticket in VA in Botetourt county on my way to VA Tech to see my sister...aaaarrrgggghhh! :lol
My uncle lives in Roanoke and my hubby and I were *thinking* of taking a trip down to see him one of these weekends....we should try to meet up!

I'm up for something next weekend or the weekend after that. I would love to do a GZ happy hour on Friday evening!! However, we could do a family activity.
