Another thread about school lunches

HELP. I am going to LOSE my mind.

I am running out of ideas.

She will NOT eat sandwiches.

What else can i pack besides cheese adn crackers???

Life would be so much easier if she would just eat her sandwich. She used to in the beginning of the year. Now she will take one bite and move on to the treats.

So, I took the treats away (the sugary ones) didn;t work. :cry


PLEASE help me with some genious ideas.

What about a tortilla with sandwich stuff in it or a pita pocket??
I would also bring soup in a thermos sometimes.

I am going to have to buy a thermos. She might eat speghetti? zoodles maybe.

I wont send her lunchables. A. too expensie B. not good for her. But once in a while I might break that rule :para.

I have sent her wraps...she does like that actually.

A & A used to NOT eat sandwhiches either. I did the thermos with soup, spaghettio's etc.

I know they are sandwichy .. but my dd likes Uncrustables. She also likes carrot sticks with dip (usually ranch dressing) and fruit slices.

I have never heard of uncrustables? What are they?

You find them in the freezer section. They are peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese sandwiches, but without any crust. They are round. Pretty cool and yummy :)

Uncrustables are made by Smuckers and they are peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese. Its a pre-made sandwich that you freeze and then put in the lunch box .. my dd says they taste nothing like a sandwich .. she's a very picker eater and she loves them .. but only the grape kind. :hehe

I will check for them the next time I am out, but I am wondering if it is a states thing and that I wont find them in Canada.

Logan likes to take carrots with ranch dressing and cucumbers. I usually roll up two pieces of turkey and send that..I just dont put it on bread. Maybe she would eat that :shrug
