I said If i could get to 6 months nursing I'd be satisfied.

Some days I'm ready for it to be @ that point. and others I tell myself Whats another 6 more after that? :lol

I think I'm the only one dealing with a Daily Rollercoaster Nursing. :roll

How old is your baby now? 5 months?
I think we hit some stability around 6 months. At 7 months they started going 4 hours between feeds and they also started sleeping from 8p-4a ( i fed them) and then they were back down to around 6:30a. My life got so much easier at 7 months.:yep
:hug
You can do it girfriend! Hang in there. It is tough some days, but so worth it! My girls haven't been sick once!! (Ella did have a runny nose for 2 days, but I think that was teething related).
:thumbsup

:hugs I have those roller coaster days too. Ashley is right about it getting easier after 7 months. Mine don't sleep as well as hers do, but it is so much better than it was. I think small goals are a great way to not feel overwhelmed by the length of time. I try to remind myself that in the big picture a year or two for my children's health and well-being is not really a sacrifice. Other days I really can't wait to be the one posting "I puked last night..." :lol

I hated nursing. We couldn't afford formula though. It is also way better for them. My brother suffered from ear infections for years and we have a family history of diabetes. BF is supposed to protect them from both of those. DH also encouraged me to continue. He thought that it was the best thing for them.

you have done sooo well to get to this point...and i know you have worked through lots of obstacles. it does get easier the longer you do it, and the time, lack of sleep, and worry you save from sick babies is sooo worth it! since you have older kids to bring germs home it is so great your sweet princess has all that protection coming right from mommy! :clap :clap

i know some days it is hard, but you have done a great thing for her you should be proud of, and you are one awesome mommy! :friends2
