Who do we have? Is it just Tarto and Mamabirdie?

How are things going for you guys?

I think they are the only two, but hopefully in the next few months we will have more.:thumbsup

I am not currently lactating. Well, actually I am, but it's very different stuff and not a lot. The girls tried it a few months ago, and were totally disgusted.:lmao I wonder how long it takes to dry up after you nursed for 2 years.:dunno

Checking in!

Do they make bathing suits for nursing mamas?

we are at 27 months and still going strong. they still love their nanny, and it is just so sweet how they are at this age with their "nanny".

annie will say, "mommy, nanny time now and annie wants left nanny today." amanda will say, "annie wants left and amanda wants right." they proceed to get the correct side and snuggle up to each other...lol. now they like to rest a bit and lie against the one still nursing, too, and stroke the other's hair.

of course, this is in between them trying to read books while nursing (ow) and and suddenly switching sides with no warning. how do they do that? all of a sudden they just both get up and switch. amazing...lol.

anyway, they nurse about 4-5 times a day still, and despite some lazy latches due to distractions they are doing wonderfully! :cowdance :frolic

oh, and i have seen nursing swimsuits at motherwear.com, including plus size, but they are pricey.

They're 8 months, almost 9 :tear

Thanks for the link :)

27 months, congrats!! That's HUGE!!

yes, it is huge...lol. i have to say it is great since they are so healthy and happy, though. they sometimes now will ask for milk (soy, can't have dairy) and nanny too, and i can see a gradual shift to 4 nursings a day instead of 5-6. that sure works for me...lol.

they now bring a stuffed teletubby or favorite animal to get some nanny too. it is really sweet. i am glad they will see a female body as nurturing and strong, and i hope that sticks with them alter. :frolic

I have 6 month old boys who are still exclusively breastfed. The first couple months of it were the worst of my life, but it is so worth it now. I can't imagine dealing with all those bottles...

i dont' either. besides the expense added to all those diapers, carrying around bottles and keeping them cool, along with washing all that stuff...wow! the girls love to pat my breasts and say, "nannies keeping milk warm for annie and amanda." silly girlies:teehee
