Rain stayed home from school today. She faked a stomach ache. I know she faked it because her brother had the bug for real, and I got puke spots to prove it. There has been no puke with Rain, she actually feels "GREAT" now......

Awww...maybe she needed some attention or so. AJ gets like that once in awhile.

Logan tries to pull that sometimes too..not too often though. He's still at the age where he likes school. I see that gradually changing every year though

She is my A student, so Im not going to fret her about it. Its odd though, for her to want to stay home.....

Maybe something at school bothered her? It is a tough age!

Actually, that is my concern. She is a very bright child, and there is a boy...edger, that is bullying her badly because she is so smart and is the "teachers pet". So badly, the teacher and I have spoken about it. I do think the Teacher is trying to stop it, but she can't be everywhere all the time. Im going to give it a day and then ask her about it, because I KNOW she wasnt sick.

There is the chance that she just wanted the day off, a little Chrismas Break fever of sorts too.......

we all need a break from time to time.. from work, school etc... I wouldn't worry much. sounds like she's a great kiddo.

I wonder if it is the bully upseting her.

I was known to pretend to be sick a few times as a kid.
