    Default R is officially diagnosed

as having epilepsy. It's sad really because there are some lost opportunites for her future here. But I'm trying not to think about how it limits some things and focus on the fact that we're getting her medicated and probably won't have to deal with seizures any more. She has to have an MRI in the next couple of weeks so that'll be fun. I'm just glad the put them to sleep for it.

I'm so glad that you guys finally have answers. As hard as it may seem at the moment, I know that you and A are amazing parents and R is very fortunate to have you guys. I know that you will not let the diagnosis define her or limit her in any sort of way. Now you can take this diagnosis and move forward to treat her and make her into a more healthy little girl.

i am so sorry... but i agree with the others- you are such a good mommy that you won't let her use anything as a crutch in life- in fact, i'll bet you'll teach her to be stronger because of it.
